Tourist Guide of Maremma and Siena
The Tuscan Maremma is my home, I was born and grew up here after a period spent in the province of Viterbo. Since completing my classical studies, my efforts have been devoted to deepening my knowledge of the history of art and archaeology, in love with the great Sienese masters and with the mysterious history of the Etruscan people, whom I consider my true ancestors and the first inhabitants of my land. Besides working as a tour guide in cities renowned for their art like Siena, San Gimignano, Pienza and Massa Marittima, I am a hiking guide, specialized in nature trails and trekking thanks to the 20 years of experience I have acquired in the Maremma Regional Park (Uccellina), in the “Lands of Tufa” (Pitigliano, Sovana, Sorano), in the enchanting coastal landscapes of the Argentario Promontory and the Island of Giglio, and along the ancient via Francigena from San Gimignano to Monte Amiata, passing through the gentle hills of the Val d’Orcia and the Crete senesi. I come from a family of food lovers who worship authentic flavours, and this has prompted me to become an expert in wine tourism and local products and has allowed me to discover producers, places and farms where the delicious fruits of southern Tuscany can be savoured. When I’m not in my comfortable tour guide shoes or trekking boots, you’ll see my inseparable tango zapatos at my feet. The dance expresses my passionate nature to the full and my natural inclination for listening!
