Patrizia Falaschi
Qualified Tourist Guide
I was born in Florence. After having studied and worked abroad for a few years I decided to return and settle in Tuscany to live among the olive tree covered hills between Florence and Pisa. Since the end of the " last century" I am a tour guide specialised in Florence and its province. I have a passion for nature and for this matter I am also a nature guide though it is art that interests me most. I enjoy my free time deepening my knowledge of history and its implications in various fields of artistic expression such as music, which I regularly practice by playing the piano and accordion. In the past, the Vespa has been my favorite way to travel around and so, once in a while, I happily organise scooter bike guided tours in the hills surrounding Florence. Here in Tuscany, art can be found not only in the cities but in small town centers as well where alternative means of transportation are the best way to fully experience these places. I practically live along the old Via Francigena where I love to discover new itineraries either by foot or cycling to experience a more human-scale sense of these places. I've had the chance to do equitation for a few years and have discovered interesting areas of our region while horse riding. I'm also interested in natural cooking and organic products, in holistic disciplines and yoga. I have a natural inclination to understand people and exchange emotions. I do this while I tour to bring you Florence's magical atmosphere, with its antic elegance and rationalism. I also love to investigate the hidden realms of esotheric disciplines which in the Renaissance found in Florence their rank alongside the emerging sciences and arts.
