Bronze sculpture of the Hellenistic Age
You cannot really miss the chance to see some of the most important Greek bronze masterpieces of the Hellenistic Age, between the time of Alexander the Great's death (323 b.C.) and Augustus' coronation (23 b.C.). Organized by some of the most important World Experts and housed by Palazzo Strozzi in Florence the exibition shows statues coming from the most important Museums of Europe and America (British Museum, Louvre, J. Paul Getty of Malibu, Museo Archeologico of Florence) that are for the first time presented together in a fantastic milieu.
2015 was declared by the Regione Toscana Year of Archeology.
