Three days with a big Gruop of Friends from Milan
Touring in Florence and Fiesole
My heartfelt thanks to the group of Milanese friends who spent three days visiting Florence with me and today, despite a bit 'of rain, San Miniato al Monte and Fiesole. Below the photo of the group and in the gallery photos I did from Fiesole soon as the annoyn rain started at noon. In 3 days we scoured the streets and squares of the city, perhaps something we have not been possible to see, for lack of time, but I'm sure there will be other opportunities to complete the visit to the city of the Iris. Meanwhile we met and the San Lorenzo district of the Medici, the Cathedral and its square, Via Tornabuoni and Santa Trinita (without the accent) to finish at Santa Maria Novella during the first afternoon, then the next morning we discovered Dante's discrict and Santa Croce, the Palazzo Veccio and Piazza Signoria, Ponte Vecchio and Piazza Pitti, ending in the Church of Holy Spirit to see the wooden cross that Michelangelo sculpted when he was 17 years old.
